Control Distributors LLC was purchased by Mr. John Hermes in March of 2000 from Mr. Bill Smith who started the company in 1984. The reason for the purchase was to gain customers and accounts. Control Distributors also had a long history of performance and its name was well recognized in our territory. Since the purchase of Control Distributors has enjoyed substantial growth for both themselves as well as the factories they represent.
Mr. Hermes, an Illinois State graduate in Industrial Science and Engineering specializing in hands on technical assistance.
Since CD’s inception a data base of industrial, municipal, mining, power and food and beverage customers has grown to over 4,000. Understanding our customer’s needs has always been our focus; we pride ourselves with our ability to perform for our customers.
In March of 2004 we purchased a 4,500 square foot office to house Control Distributors. The building has 7 offices, conference room, reception area and 1,000 square feet of shop and warehouse. Factory representative’s who visit also have responded with gratitude that we offer them high speed internet hook-up, easy access from the airport and a multiple hotel options within walking distance.
I am very proud of our organization and the direction it is heading.
